Volunteer and Become a Friend of Campagna
Campagna Center, one of Alexandria’s oldest nonprofit organizations, is fortunate to have a broad base of volunteer support to power our mission and our vision to serve children and families. We have worked over the past year to evolve our volunteer experience and welcome more people to join our programs with one-day, short-term, and long-term volunteer opportunities. Our newly envisioned Friends of Campagna program aims to provide a channel for both mission-rich opportunities to serve the organization and social engagement opportunities for volunteers to deepen their relationships with likeminded Alexandrians.
Friends of Campagna serves as a volunteer group for anyone ready to help advance the mission of the organization and build bonds of friendship and community. Members are required to engage in at least one day of service per year that aligns with their passions, interests, and skills. Members will have an opportunity to be considered for Campagna Center Committee and Board service based on the needs of the organization in any given year. Members will also have an opportunity to purchase tickets to Campagna events with a modest discount and participate in networking/social events that are planned by Friends, for Friends. To engage in these activities, members are expected to register as a Friend of Campagna and donate a nominal membership fee of $75 each year, which is tax deductible and covers a 12-month period. Members of the Friends of Campagna will also act as organizational ambassadors and encourage individuals in the community to join the Friends of Campagna.
